High capacity hostels? vb: http://www.hetlaathof.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Dreaming about participating I liked the idea of +100 velomobiles in 1 group.

What about the asset of the attention you will get? Can't it be used to convince companies or city/communitycouncils to provide some terrain or other things?

bicky schreef:Most of the campings i went have a big field for 100 1 night campers. You can always ask

Example
Last year we went to puyenbroek in august and there was enough room for 100 campers.
This is the location in puyenbroek: http://goo.gl/maps/rPec" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
cost: 11€ for 1 tent with 2 persons if group is larger than 10
That's what i meant. Sure not all campings will be suitable, some will be filled to capacity in summer season and some will be too small in the first place. But there are many of them. You just need to pick the right ones. The basic ones with large open fields are often the cheapest aswell.

Since it's summer and school's out, it might be a good idea to consider school's:

the playground may host several velomobiles, their sportshall can serve as a giant dorm that has showers and most of them are accomodated with dining halls and kitchens. Guess what if you could manage to find connecting dorms...

As for kitchen crew and volunteers, it might be a way for partners to join in on the trip. Supermarkets offer discounts to youth going on camp with a group, why not have a supermarket cater ingredients?

my 2 cents,
